week 25

25 WeeksI have just over 100 days to go until my due date. I am so excited to meet Hannah. I already get emotional when I think about seeing her for the first time. I find myself looking at other peoples children, kids in picture frames, or on marcetting adds and compare them to what I think Hannah will look like. I can't wait to take her on her first walk, read to her her first book, give her her first bath, introduce her to the Easter Rabbit, Santa and all of our fun traditions. Mainly I just can't wait for her to be part of our lives. I feel like I love her so much already but know that my love for her will only grow in its intensity once she is here. I find myself wanting to cover my belly as if to protect her innocent ears from the profanity and harsh sounds of this world. I have not enjoyed being pregnant besides knowing our precious baby Spud is inside waiting for us.

Baby Shower for Tiffany

raise 'em young, raise 'em right!
Maid made bibs for baby Emerson. They came out so cute. Everyone was ewing and awing over them.
My brother's wife is due almost exactly 2 months before me. They live up by Fort Hood but her parents still live in Leander. Her mother and sisters hosted a baby shower for her this weekend. Tom and I gave them a diaper genie and the refills. No poopy diaper smell for their house!
